I first saw this sista on PBS last year and gave her a call...she was quite nice and her spotlight
on PBS was wonderful. She runs a childcare center from her home that specializes in "date
nights." She's in the View Park area...but sometimes it may be worth it to drop the kids off
there and experience a "date night" with your man in "the city." MM Tammy

For those who are looking for a regular sitter, or think you'll need one in the future. Kimberly
Marshall is an assistant teacher at my sons' preschool. She's the school's only floating
teacher, which means the school trust her working in any classroom, from infants thru pre-k
kids. And she is available for babysitting. And she's a woman of color. She's here in the SFV,
and she's available pretty much at a moments notice. The great thing is since she's employed
by CSUN's pre-school, she is finger-printed and has done (and obviously passed) a
background check. She's a student, but an older one. She's super nice and my kids love her
(as do the kids at the school). She'll come to your house. You can call her on the day of, and
she'll do her best to make it work. We've tapped her as our regular sitter when we need
her. She charges $10/hour - I don't know if that goes up as the number of kids goes up. She
has classes and works during the day until 5:30. But she's available all nights and weekends.

school age. The owner is a personal friend of mines for 9 yrs. She gave me peace of mind
caring for both of my children from newborn and up, and they love her. She is still caring for
my 1 yr old . She provides a very loving environment. She's clean, reliable,and very affordable.
